Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2P Flat QD-OLED: 32" 4K 240Hz with DisplayPort 2.1, KVM

Does the DP 2.1 work well on the 5090? Is there any difference you guys are seeing?

Late to reply, as I picked up this monitor a week ago, but yes it works as intended.

Wanted one to compare with a 27" DP 2.1 Monitor, and saves me waiting for new gen models to make a comparison.

If you have one of these and are happy with it, can save yourself an upgrade, unless you're going to a TV for better HDR performance.

Gives me the DSR options (which I like to use in older games) and no issues so far running anything on the display.

Cheers thanks!

I have a C2 42 already, but my work give a stipend for monitors that's only active for 60 days after start date lol, so between this and the MSI 322URX but this one seems to actually be in stock!

thanks mate, this is the information I was looking for

any suggestions for a thin, ideally optical, DP 2.1 full bandwidth cable?
Upgraded to a 5090, I need a longer cable than what the monitor came with.

I was using a HDMI 2.1 optical cable with this monitor and a 3090, loved it. Looking for something similar - thanks!

My 2 metre DP 2.1 cable was meant to support everything but it didn't allow me to use DSR Factors on the monitor, or higher bitrates 10bit etc for the colour with DSC off... not major issues for everyone but a difference I noticed regardless.

1 metre DP 2.1 cable however did allow everything.

If anyone finds a longer cable that supports everything like the 1 metre cable, I'd also be interested in buying it.

If there is anyone with this monitor and an LG OLED tv, how does the glossy coating compare?

I have a 42C2 which I am contemplating switching out for various reasons, one of which being the glossy nature of the display.

works with 10 bit + DSR Factors can be enabled :)

not needed of course and 8 bit is fine, but nice to know it's limits.

Still curious about the Silkland cable for future use cases though.

Thanks mate, good to know the ubluker cable works.

Can I get any more thoughts on this monitor? Got tempted by a Asus PG32UCDM for £912 but decided I should wait until their new monitors in Q3. However, with work discounts I can now pickup a FO32U2P for £705. Currently using a M28U with my 4090 (yes I know DP2.1 won't be of use straight away, something something 6 series)

I'll be using the monitor for coding and gaming (PC for COD/RTS stuff, plus PS5) in a room where I can control the lightning and won't have any sunlight directly hitting the monitor.

No brainer. I paid £898 and love it, such a massive upgrade

I think the 1080p 480hz mode is more of a gimmick because I used it once and never again (it looks really bad).

Apart from that the monitor is great, and for that price I’d be ordering it straight away.

Well, I'm back, and I made the right choice! Gaming is immense, can perfectly read text and code with it. Even my relatively bright room the purple tint is negligible. I've got all the normal pixel refreshing stuff and whatnot on, does it do it automatically when I lock my macbook and it turns the display off? It's still plugged in and on, which I assume are the right measures for it to do it when it needs to?

I also stumbled on a auros promotion for steam credit (https://www.aorus.com/en-gb/explore/events/refresh-and-revive-steam-promo#, runs until 27th June) so have applied for that!
