would be interesting to see it compare against a similar performance or perhaps a slightly faster card, but one with 12GB, and see how it compared when games are running into 13-16GB VRAM on the 9060XT, therefore remove card, fit 12GB and see how FPS tanks.

Any idea of pricing?

"Ah AMD, never missing a chance to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory"

Seems about right. Its execs are fighting nvidia for being the most obtuse online with their bs.

It now feels at least like you can get a decent PC for 1K again with a 9060XT 16GB for £320.

But there's a bit of a price difference between this lot and the 9070/9070XT lol

What's interesting is the RX9060XT gets close to the RTX5060TI with almost half the memory bandwidth. If these cards had GDDR7,I wonder how much faster they would be?

A couple thousand in stock across all brands. :)

Not bad at all, sips power, 16 GB of memory, and looks like it might be good VFM.
Not much of an uplift overall from a 3070, though more than I was expecting at 1440p.
Perfect for someone like me that also likes to play older titles as much as new ones.

What i really wanted to do was scream BORING...... but its not bad, i mean its not great, its just kinda fine which is about the best we can hope for these days....

£320 for a £400 GPU with green tax is decent, yeah....

Depends, memory bandwidth doesn't matter much unless its the bottleneck, its game dependant, it also depends on GPU architecture, they are not equal in that, it used to be that Nvidia was significantly better than AMD with this but i think what we can say is that's no longer true.....

AMD have put a lot of work in to the RDNA series architecture and it shows, in lots of ways.

@CAT-THE-FIFTH, Nvidia are using 28GB/s Memory IC's, 40% higher than the 20GB/s IC's AMD use, So I think anything from +0% to +40% depending on the game, if i remember rightly MLID apparent "AMD insiders" claimed 15 to 45% for the rumoured 9080 XT using GDDR7, that would be with a 15% at the low end of claimed clocks (3.4Ghz) to 25% at the high end (3.7Ghz) plus the 40% higher memory bandwidth.

Perhaps 20% overall which would match it to an RTX 4070.

On that note i agree with Jay, just make the damn thig AMD, don't think just do.....

Could I ask a noob question in here about the cheaper versions of AMD cards vs the "higher end" ones. Gibbo has shared there are 1000 units of the 16gb Pulse 9060 xt and will be at MSRP tomorrow at least.

I've only ever bought one card, a 3080 FE. So no experience buying a board partner card

Whats the difference between the pulse and lets say a hellhound. I get that the hellhound comes with higher clock speeds out the box, but do they have the same silicon so I could just buy a Pulse and it would have the same OC headroom as a hellhound?

Sorry if this is a silly question, I'm trying to decide before 2pm tomorrow to simply buy something like the Pulse or whether it's.more the extra £ to get one of the bigger cards.
