With Amazon, I can order at like 11pm on some items and STILL arrive next day at like 9am.

If they have it in all their warehouse, then they have a lot of time left to ship.

Yeah some items I can order at 9am and get it same day.

All depends where the item is located, I’d imagine any Amazon orders not dispatched yet are because it’s held in a warehouse near the receiver.

I spoke to an Argos customer rep stating my concerns about DPD and two day delivery time to NI. Was able to tell me mine was dispatched 2nd June. Well be expecting a DPD ie message at some point.

So haven't received a text or email from DPD for my Argos order but looking at my DPD app it shows a parcel from Argos that's awaiting collection! So may be worth checking for people.

For those who haven't received one from Argos yet, the actual parcel number you need to track it is 1550 + the number they texted you.

Yeah I got my email too. Seems like the tracking number in the SMS is missing the first 4 digits, otherwise the rest of it matches the one in the email.

Well it seems the Argos rep was lying, DPD tracking shows dispatch today.

DPD next day is rarely next day in NI.

Indeed. This is one of the biggest reasons why you won't see the usual sites having reviews live the second the launch window opens, because even though they have the device in their posession they haven't be able to actually use it.

One podcast I listened to guessed that there was some bug(s) that Nintendo thought they had fixed in the firmware that was already shipped in the devices sitting in stores. They found out it wasn't quite the case and so in order to not have some big fiasco where reviewers, and us end users, hitting said bug(s) and making a big deal out of it... they decided the current course of action where nobody can use the system until launch when the fix(es) are applied. (let me just reiterate, complete guess work from the podcast I listened to and not actual fact). Having said that, this device is going to sell like hotcakes regardless of whether your favourite outlet has a review on day 1 or not.

Yes, mine was changed to "We've Got it" now for both the console and controller...separate tracking, separate parcels.

It’s day 1 already in Australia! I’ve read of a couple of people already downloading the update and MKW.
