But 50 million they won't bother.

A decent castle +priceless art, antiques + treasure + maintenance is going to be more then 50 mil.

Its pretty simple. Your chances of winning it don't change and most people don't even remember/realise its happening until its at an ungodly number. Same as the grand national. I would wager that 98% of the people who bet on the grand national do not even look at horse racing the rest of the year.
