Is anyone using the switch 2 with the AW3225QF and what settings are you using?
works fine here at 4k.Same. Infact does HDR work at 4k with Switch? When I select Adjust HDR at the bottom it says my TV doesnt support HDR, but selecting 1080p allows me to adjust HDR.
Can you select "Adjust HDR settings" at the bottom of the menu?works fine here at 4k.
Mine has arrived also.
Unfortunately as I saw mentioned elsewhere, seals broken, and box looked like it had been through a blender with some pretty hefty damage (because some idiot decided to dump the switch box inside a bigger box with no padding...derp; albeit luckily Switch ITSELF seemed ok (no stapler marks here...).
Also worried I'm missing my Mario Kart code, but having to take the box properly apart later. I'm in discussion with JL regards that, as I might just ask them if they can replace the bundle at this point; as it could be the case this one genuinely has been opened elsewhere.
My query is this - does anyone know if you can transfer a Switch 2 to Switch 2 yet?
Given the condition, I may just get the entire thing swapped out; but I'm wary I've already transferred from my original Switch, which has transferred at least Pokemon saves over to the new machine one way (with none left on the old machine) as I'd wanted to check the machine worked OK after the extremely rough shape its box came in. As the Switch appears to be working OK, as long as I have my Mario Kart code paper somewhere, then I'm fine, albeit the box looks terrible; but it might be better for peace of mind to just get it all swapped out; but ONLY if I don't lose my saves doing so!
This aside, new machine genuinely feels better; new Joycons are a marked improvement over the old one, and the Pro Controller feels really nice. Judging by the early videos I'm seeing, it looks like most Switch games run at least as good as they did before if not better, which is nice; and one of the few things I was worried about.
Dock is wired, but not seeing full gigabit speed out of the network connection yet, but could simply be the servers getting pummelled right now haha
I had two arrive, one from Nintendo UK, the other from Amazon.Lol, my one from Nintendo UK was in a giant box with a tiny bit of paper packing too. Atrocious. Somehow the box with 0% damage whatsoever. The sticker seal on the bottom unfortunately was torn (still hanging by a thread, so not opened). Just a shame it had to be the bottom one and not the top! I tried to remove the rest of the sticker and it's the worst sticker I've ever seen. The plastic disintegrates into pieces as you try to pull it off, making it impossible. It's probably due to how brittle it is that I imagine the box moving around in shipping probably but enough pressure on it to tear it like that.
Does 1440p work for anyone. The option is greyed out for me.

I have to say the packaging and the seal for the Nintendo one was flawless and sealed. The amazon one the seal was broken.
I'm surprised how well MK8D upscales to 4k docked too, there's clear pixelation which is to be expected, but overall it's upscaled quite well.E: I just tried MK8D on the S2.
If nobody told me that Switch 1 games run using series of hardware and emulation, I would be none the wiser and wouldnt know any difference.
This game looks spectacular on the bigger 8 inch screen. It makes heluva difference. Its given a new life to my existing S1 library. Cant wait to play TOTK for first time using the S2 upgrade.
I'm able to adjust HDR on my 4k ViewSonic monitor, and I can select 1440p tooCan you select "Adjust HDR settings" at the bottom of the menu?
Does it allow you to adjust?
I've looked online for read and write speeds for NS2 internal memory but have come up short. It might simply be you're hitting the peak sustained writes. If you get a microSD Express card in the future, especially one that can do 600+ for read and writes, then you should get improved times.Only downloaded Mario Kart and expected it to take ages but maybe the time of night helped here. Took 15 minutes and I’m on a gig connection so at full pelt it should have been something like 3 and a half minutes. 21.9GB in 15 minutes is about 200Mb ish speeds. Not great but not unbearable. Hopefully speeds improve in future though.
Internal storage is UFS 3.1. This means speeds up to 2100 MB/s read and 1200 MB/s write. The Switch 2 storage will be that or less.I've looked online for read and write speeds for NS2 internal memory but have come up short. It might simply be you're hitting the peak sustained writes.
