*** The Official Nintendo Switch 2 ***

I've been playing Fantasy Life and love the relative simplicity of it.
@xaldub does the camera bother you in it? I feel it's far too zoomed in, but I just saw today that they're doing an update in a couple of weeks that will extend the camera range view
Yeah, it's a bit zoomed in and can sometimes be annoying as you're moving around and it tries to contort to avoid scenery clashes. But if you've ever played Animal Crossing, where the view is really zoomed in, then almost everything else feels like ultra-wide !

One of my favourite racing games is Burnout Paradise, was disappointed by the resolution on Switch or at least it always felt low, I know chances are probably zero but would love a performance patch to sharpen it up.
Thanks for the reminder, I just grabbed it from the eshop since it's only £4

What have Amazon said?
I have got to send the box with all the rubbish in back to them and they will refund my payments for the console, pro controller & Microsd card.
It looks like the delivery label on the box has been pulled off the box with the correct items in and then attached to the box with all the rubbish in.

Wonder if they even look into what happened. Would hope who ever it is gets reported to the police and loses their job.

I resigned to the fact that I just cannot play breath of the wild in handheld mode because certain actions in the game I just don't seem to have the finesse for. Plus it's annoying when I have to hit the minus to bring up the slate.
That's ok though, controller and TV is great or I could use the stand with the joy-cons or pro controller.

Put screen protector on in the end. The steamy room method is legit. Couldn't see a spec of dust.

I keep hitting the wrong button in handheld

Aye. I've not even attempted to play anything handheld but even with controller, I'm all over the place coming from muscle memory from PS5. I'm thankful you can at least swap the jump and sprint buttons but wish you could assign any button but alas not.

Really enjoying BotW; this is how I wished / should have played it first time when I first got the Lite.

If I have TOTK physical how do I upgrade? I read somewhere the cartridges are different does that mean I can’t just plug it in and then upgrade?

I'm having possible slight regrets, ha.

MK World is more of the same and original Switch games certainly run better BUT it almost feels too big and I was hoping Nintendo would add more apps/functionality i.e. Netflix etc which is a shame they haven't - also YouTube/Twitch don't seem to work either. None of the other games appeal to me either, Yakuza 0 would've been cool but I've only recently completed it and can't face doing it again. I really hope publishers can/will rerelease their older games as presumably the Switch 2 could play them now (Outer Worlds, Resident Evil 2&3 etc).

Good news is I've finally completed Super Mario Sunshine a cool 23 years after it was released.

I also fired up WRC 10 and it's funny just how poor it looks, absolutely no depth or graphical clout. The Switch could really do with a quality racer.

It's early yet, so hopefully older games will get an update in time, just a resolution and quality increase should be easy enough. Do wish Nintendo would have inproved the ergonomics on the joy cons as they get uncomfortable after a while.

I've seen Dbrand has a fix for that which ads grips to the joy cons and acts as a hard case. It's a bit pricey but it looks perfect for what I want, and it still allows you to remove the joy cons as normal.
