Years back I saw a picture of Lauterbrunnen online and in September last year I decided to go. It was so amazing that I went again a few weeks ago.
It's two trains from Zurich and takes about 2-2.5 hours, really simple to get to.

Next to Lauterbrunnen is a place called Wengen where I stayed the evening.

There is not much to do but walk around and just take it in but honestly it's so beautiful that it's worth it.

I stayed in Interlaken last year for 4 nights. A great base for exploring Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald and surrounding areas. Fantastic scenery, stunning hikes, just, beautiful! Highly recommended from me too.

I flew to Basel, 1 night there, then got the train to Interlaken.

Absolutely stunning part of the world, my partners Dad lives in Meggen just outside of Lucerne, had the chance to spend a week there couple years ago. I'll be back!

I went to Interlaken this time as well
Lovely place, I wish I didn't end up getting lunch time drunk so I could have actually explored more of it. This time I stayed in Bern as it's only an hour away
