There’s a video on Reddit of some guy walking around who apparently survived the crash !

What makes you say that? Minimum they're 58,000lbs of thrust each, and with the 787-8 weighing stone 118,000lbs it's close to the default thrust ratio of 1:1.It was hot and if they had an engine failure and with the startle effect forgot to raise the gear it could have been unable to climb. 787 engines are not very powerful.
Clearly, but why would airport staff allow someone access to be able to stand and record the CCTV footage from their phone in the first place? How? Everyone has mobile phones with video cameras these days and easy access to social media
Why? Because people want to see and other people want the validation of being the person who supplied what everyone wanted to see
To not only survive that but to casually walk away from the scene is nothing short of a miracle.

Of course that's the least power out could have it could be 78,000. I haven't checked which engines this aircraft has.
It would be more than capable of sustaining takeoff with only one engine, that's a basic requirement.
I used to fly 787, in the sim when you have an engine failure it climbs like a dog compared to a 777 and that’s with bringing the gear up. All speculation though. What makes you say that? Dual engine failure very unlikely.
Loss of electrical power, very unlikely
Wing flaps not in the right configuration - possible, but what are the chances of that with all the procedures and two pilots.
Once the aircraft is past V1, even with under deployed flaps, surely such loss in pitch is not possible without a drop in power.
Thanks. What else could it be then?Plane crash near Ahmedabad.. - PPRuNe Forums
Accidents and Close Calls - Plane crash near Ahmedabad.. - How plausible is dogey FMS settings such as excessive flex TO or incorrect M&B? Hard to tell but it doesn't sound like take off power is applied.www.pprune.org
Wing flaps not correct - not possible, the aircraft software would keep LATS and LAPS down for control
To be fair if plane going down like that you might aswell take a chance of jumping out, wonder where he fell on to?
