BMW F31 330d brake shudder

Good call. I don’t have a press to get the old bushes out and then the new ones in so may have to change the whole wishbone. I’m having difficulty seeing which one’s I need as there are several
In this shape.
I would just get Lemforder from Autodoc, you can check the part numbers on RealOEM with your VIN Number.

Edit: If yours is an XDrive, you'll need to unbolt the driveshafts, so get both bolts as they're TTY (One time use only), you'll also need a torque wrench that can do 210Nm (if I remember correctly), the driveshafts are in the way of getting the LCA ball joint out.. I would also get a paint marker, as after torquing you need to do either 45 or 90 degree turn. On RWD its an easy job, on XDrive its a pain in the...

Mine is RWD.

Mine is RWD.
Its p... easy on RWD. Jack up the front by the service jacking point, put it on 2 axle stands, take both wheels off, undo the Wheel Arch at the bottom, 1 bolt and 1 nut on each side and the LCA comes out.

On RWD it shouldn't take more then 1 hour.

Edit: I would just get lemforder Lower Control Arms, if you've a garage nearby you could ask them, how much they would charge to press out the old bearings. You need to mark the line though, for when you put in the polyurethane bushes

I would just grab new lemforder arms, less faffing about, I couldn't get any as I did mine during COVID shortages and it was hard to get parts...

New LCA and discs/pads fitted today. Was quite straight forward. Judder gone for now!! I was very thorough with cleaning the face of each hub assembly.

Been out for a long run on M-way, fast A and B roads. Car steering is transformed; it felt vague, skittish and imprecise but now feels…. well, amazing. Still a bit of a clunk over big bumps though and i’m wondering what else to change? Drop links (most likely culprit) or wishbones?

Drop links most likely, worst case scenario top strut mounts.
