Dept Q.

Finished it last night and really enjoyed it, hopefully there's a season 2.

It's based off a danish book series that has 9 books out, so not short of content if they do get renewed.

I enjoyed it and something a little different to most cop shows these days.

Did feel for the owner of the Sierra they lent with how much they loved ramping it up kerbs.

Enjoyed the first 3 or 4 episodes, E5 slowed right down and was filler, just watched E6 which was a bit better, will try and finish it over the weekend but lost a bit of its shine currently.

Loved this series, and hope they renew it.
The music is bugging me though!! sounds very similar to something else i watched recently.

A few people were raving about this so gave it a watch..

I’d give it a 7/10, not the most remarkable TV show I’ve seen but it was ok.

I felt there was a lot of loose ends they didn’t tie up before the end but I imagine there will be more seasons as a result of the hype.

I specifically wanted to know more about what happened to the care home owner

Excellent news. I saw that there’s umpteen Danish books and they’ve all been adapted for film, so I hope they’ll follow suit adapting them for TV.

The author apparently didn’t like how their books were adapted for film, so I’m curious about how they feel about the tv adaptation.

good news, enjoyed the first series, especially the dynamic between the lead Character and Akram.

I reckon Akram is going down the legolas route, in each series he'll have one or two "combo" moves.

Agreed with the general consensus, not a masterpiece but worth a watch. I also agree there's some parts of the story still open ended. I'll have to let my wife know it's been renewed, she's the one who got me into it and she'll be happy to have something to watch.
