It's too hot :(

They've revised it a bit where I live in Cambridgeshire, hottest is apparently 29c now plus 60% chance of rain at 3pm.

Although it's warming up quite fast this morning.
 
Well, despite being the hottest day of the year I actually slept well (for me). Went to bed at 1am and slept through till 6:30am, then slept a bit more until 9am. Think it's probably due to being shattered from the rest of the week.

Had a cool shower about 1.30am this morning slept with the fan blowing on me for the rest of the morning until the wife said her face was cold, I'm blocking most of the breeze though.:)
 
Over 26c in my bedroom at midnight. AC is too loud to be able to sleep with it running but I do have a portable Shark fan that I just pointed at my face which made it more bearable.

Nice ride on my motorbike this morning, fine if you keep moving, not fine if you get stuck at a train crossing for ten minutes.
 
Maybe today won't be the hottest day, at least for some of us? Light rain bands moving across England and Wales, still 24C, which is far better than 28C forecast!

I know you're down Pompey way ish, Wunderground reckons rain will end by 1400ish.

37°C in the shade right now. Chopped up the grass I strimmed down yesterday this morning with my ride on mower by 10:30am before the heat got crazy.

Supposed to be cooler next week.
