2025 24h Nürburgring

Yeah, been great so far, its crazy how these longer endurance races fell more like sprints now. The cars have become so reliable and the GT3 formula is so mature now that they can just lean on the cars the whole time.

Frustrating on the red flag though, there goes any chance of a record race length.

Any idea what happened with #911? I wasnt paying attention for about 20minutes as I was chatting with my mate, when I got back to it #911 was back in 7th. Guessing it was in the pits? Just a long pit stop or was there an issue?

Just due to pitting later and the required pit time being longer.

Surprised it’s taking so long to sort this out, but I guess the timing going out and extra laps done by some cars has caused some extreme headaches.

It's worked out well for me, gives me time to put dinner on and not rush it! Still no start time as yet I take it?

Yeah, I’m just going to go to bed I think. Gutted, as that start was great.
I’m sure the restart will be good. But I’ll sleep and watch more of the night racing.

Darn it Estre is behind a Ferrari again, must re-jig the running order on restart....

I'll be taking it a bit deeper into the morning, got another couple of hours in me at least.
Aiming for a 0800 wake up and catch up.

Feels like it's pretty settled for the nightshift, but this is Nords, anything can happen here.

Rubbish from Juncadella there. Just punting that Hyundai into oblivion.

Edit: Dropping like flies now.
The Dacia smashed out of the race. :'( Nnnoooo

Damn, I slept a lot later than planned...:(
Lots of slow zones at the moment it seems.
Looks like the Rowe BMW is the only one in with a chance of challenging Grello at the moment bar any significant upset. Still a lot of time to go though.

Holy ****!

Well, that’s a huge mistake for #911.

Edit: From that onboard, maybe it’s not such an open/shut case. Gonna be interesting to see what they decide on it.

Yeah that was a hell of a punt. I'm leaning more towards racing incident though. The aston was dithering in the middle of the road. he opened it up and closed it. I know the blue flag dosnt mean they have to jump out of the way but still that was just a complete lack of awareness.
At the same time that was a risk that Estre didnt have to make, and its all on him if he ends up with a penalty.

*Edit*
I wouldnt say its the same as Juncadella incident, that was just a straight up murder.
