The Great Big FFP Debate

Everton and Forest should be asking some serious questions of the Premier League, as it seems the rules are different for certain clubs
No it doesn't. Bournemouth's situation is completely different to that of Everton and Forest. Everton and Forest breached PSR and accepted they did. Bournemouth didn't breach PSR and the way in which they were able to spend as they did and not breach PSR was unique to them and has no links whatsoever to anything that happened at Everton or Forest.

For those that don't subscribe to the Athletic, Bournemouth were able to include a shareholder loan write-off in their PSR calculations (boosting their income) for the 22/23 season as this loan was wrote off after the sale of the club. As the club was being sold this write off was considered an arms length transaction and therefore valid income - as opposed to an existing owner writing their loan off. Had this not been included in Bournemouths PSR calculations then they'd almost certainly not gone on to spend what they did last season and wouldn't have breached PSR regardless.

Not sure if this would be the correct thread but it’s kind of on point.

French club Lyon have been demoted to Ligue 2 because of the poor state of their finances.

They don’t mess around there! City with all their rule bending/breaking won’t get anything. If we ever get a decision on it!

Every time City and the FFP case is mentioned Everton get docked another point.
