Snoring! and helpful cures....

Medical tape over my gob seemed to at least reduce my snoring and gibberish.

Also, I tried washing my sinuses with a saline rinse to clear them as they can get a bit blocked.

Use more pillows so your head is propped up when you sleep.
Yeah I hear you - in my head im not that over weight (50 now) but the usual office job these days and a few too many takeaways and not too much spare time means a gym membership probably wont help.

Time to make some other changes even if small and fix the cause and not the symptoms.
Age isn't a factor. I dropped quite a bit at 50, over a couple of years I went from ~110kg to my current 62kg. So it's doable.

Forget everything about strips etc. they're useless.

What you need is a mandibular advancement device.

For many this is the cause of snoring and the only real solution.

Used strips in the past but been using Boots' own throat spray for a while now. No more complains unless I forget to use the spray :D

I got an operation, had my sinus cavities opened up, and my septum straightened ( nothing visible, its was closing off an airway internally). Didn't realise it would stop my snoring, it was never intended for that reason.
