I'm generally not a fan of Americana, but this I'd love to have a drive. It looks mean just sat there, let alone out on the road.

I drove an American muscle car once - I was like 18 and only had my license for a short time, really struggled with it LOL, shame because I'd handle it much better these days.

Sadly more than 20 years later I can't remember details but was somewhere in the region of 500BHP/close to 1000nm torque.

Mate of mine has just bought this. It is currently sitting in his garage under my old GT R car cover, which fits it nicely and I no longer use. Very rare, but beautifully anonymous to most people. One of those cars that if you know, you know.

Also, out for a walk the other day and spotted this lovely Morgan.

I don't think I've actually ever seen a Lexus LFA on the road.

I have seen one at Auto Torque, but what I'd really like is to hear one at full chat.

Ive had the joy of driving the owner of Kingston LFA, such an event of a car and does sound epic. I also got pulled over for doing 80-90mph in a 30 lol, got let off, was a huge oh sheet moment been pulled in US, not in my car doing triple the limit, but officer just said slow down and was on his way. :D

Same. They've aged incredibly well. I wonder why Clarkson never bought one.

Not sure he is actually all that in to owning flashy supercars, at least not anymore. Most of the stuff he owns is oddball, quite mundane or "affordable" classics. Even though his is very rich.

He used to drive around in a Golf GTI, not even an R. Some time before that it was an old Focus.

He has loads of cars, lots of supercars and like most people I know with lots of supercars the odd heap used for normal stuff and day to day use.

My son worked at a car wrapping business for his work experience and I was chatting to the business owner who was driving the Demon version of the Challenger.

He drives a lot of exotic cars, and reckoned the Demon is the car he is most wary of.

Even the regular V8 RT with 375HP blows the tyres of for fun and in the wet it’s hilarious.

Without performance pack they have just 245 section tyres on rear and have in excess of 400lb/ft hitting from low rpm.

Must admit everytime I’ve driven a Challenger I’ve been giggling like a child they are so driftable it’s hilarious and long wheel base makes them quite an easy car to slide but at same time could easily catch anyone out.

Best one I feel is Scat Pack has perfect amount of power to be enjoyable fun and ample quick enough. The Hellcats and Demons sound insane but you can’t go near throttle and need some serious tyre upgrades.
