This is just the going rate for a pl proven striker. Clubs want to keep players and are no longer desperate to sell to the first club who comes in for them. Theres just too much money on the table these days.

The bar has been set. The market is massively inflated.

Youre also the richest club in the world, even just being in for a player is £10m more!

The PL is the richest league in the world. Once you’re established, like Brighton, Bournemouth etc and have had 5 or 6 seasons of TV money you don’t need to sell to balance the books. And Bournemouth’s sales show simply playing in the PL puts you in the shop window for big moves for big money and wages. The smaller clubs these days aren’t having to sell to survive.

I heard that before. Ahh yes when we signed Isak!!!

Also again we’re not after him to play as just a striker. His profile fits the bill. He probably end up at Chelsea at this rate tho hah!

Didn't realise isak had played in the prem before moving to newcastle..

I hope you get your isak replacement :cry:
 
Personally happy to see the back of Pedro - developed some massive ego this season. Also played better without him in recent times when he was unavailable.

Maybe he’ll do Newcastle a solid, but he can be massively frustrating.
