My home office isn't much better! I've shut all the windows and curtains, put myself into perpetual twilight but it's so stuffy already!

I've currently got a fan blowing on my legs and another for my body, but they aren't doing anything to cool me down.

By the time I finally left to go for a ride, around the time of your post, my gps computer quickly rose to 90F/32C by ~1120.

Five things really helped...
I soaked a baselayer in cold tap water immediately before putting it on under a jersey and heading out, so refreshing for at least an hour!
Bottle of drink to take on ride had been in the fridge overnight
I went out on my ebike, so I got motor assistance up to the UK legal limit of ~15.5mph
I tried to stick to lanes with tree cover, to shelter me from the intense direct sun
I didn't put a lot of effort in, even by my low standards these days with long covid, average heartrate of 113bpm on 1hr40min ride (max 145 up biggest hill when almost home)

Kind of regretted only planning to do ~1 hour, but I only went out with one 750ml bottle and the gps computer rose to 95F during last 15mins of ride approaching 1300.

But getting out just before midday for the second consecutive morning is new territory for me since having long covid for ~2.75 years, is definitely a win.

I've been lying out in the sun last couple of hours.

Probably stay out until about 2:40 pm, then go for a shower than either play pubg or make ammunition for the rest of the afternoon.

Got a full chicken in the BBQ smoker, got in ice cream and nibbles, beer .. so when it cools later in the evening .. food ready.

Surprisingly doesn't feel as awful at home than it did in the early afternoon yesterday. Yesterday was by far the worst day, felt like I couldn't breathe properly around midday inside, with a lot of overcast weather and no breeze. Lower humidity definitely making things easier today.

I've got a chicken in the Speedi on air/steam fry with the kitchen temp coming in at 36°C

Might eat in the garden to enjoy the cooler temps...
