Spare a thought for europe where its record breaking heat, a dutch tourist died of heatstroke on Majorca taking a hike in a heatwave on a mediterranean island was probably not the best idea

Depends on whether vunerable people start dying as a result theres been enough fuss about winter fuel payments they aren't going to ignore summer heat casualties

Done the usual trick of windows/curtains closed during the day when its hotter outside than inside etc.

Working at home today and around 2pm I could no longer focus and just sat there working up the energy to turn on my air con machine. Once the temperature hit 21oC I was surprisingly productivity

I've had to up the fan speed from 1 to 2 on my A/C units to keep upstairs (and downstairs) at around 20ºC definitely a warm one today.
