Good decision by RB to run lower downforce - they were obviously banking on no real rain during qualifying and it paid off.

Shame there were mistakes by Lewis, Oscar and Norris that kinda handed it to Max. Edit: I could kinda tell Lando and Lewis were going to be trying just that little too hard today.

I'd give him the edge in any h2h across the grid right now, but he's never been tested like they are week to week by a direct team mate.

If the weather plays a part tomorrow I'd be worried about daft mistakes happening alongside Max's harsh defending. Hopefully we get some hard racing for a while.

Still expect a good result from hamilton tomorrow. He would have had pole had he not fluffed the last corners.

Well Max came along and spoilt everyone's party, the Mercedes were better under cooler conditions. If it rains, 10% chance according to the Met Office, I think though Lewis will possibly be in for a win. Depends upon car setups.

Man, really thought Lewis had a chance there. Was up after sector 2 by a tenth and a half or so. He definitely at least had 2nd without the rubbish last few corners.

I sort of knew he'd fluff the last sector though, which kind of says it all... :/

Still beat Leclerc though which is good, but he definitely had another tenth or more there with the perfect lap. Unfortunately, it seems he is quite able to put the perfect lap together anymore.
