Quite rightly so, he did nothing wrong. He defacto becomes the safety car and controls the pace. The fact that Max overshot him made it look worse than it was, it was the usual Max games. Thank goodness he spun off so that the karma evened out.

And I do indeed find it quite hard to enjoy current F1. With cars the length and weight of London buses, and stewards making stuff up on the fly, and tyres you can't properly push on, and neutered tracks, and for some reason F1 fandumb hoovering it all up like they've all got Stockholm syndrome and are convinced that it's actually halfway fun...
