Chelsea signed him for 30 mil. Surely we can't be offering much more than that if we do go for him?

Edit
As for strikers, which one of Gyokeres or Sesko is the better option? Not really seen much of either.

Madueke is Saka-lite and gives depth and a similar skillset, potentially both sides. I wouldn't pay north of £35m for him though. My concern is what's happening with Nwaneri?

Gyokeres would have been my preference for the striker signing. I'd be delighted if that deal happens.

Excited for Gyokeres. But please god no to Madueke. I mean if Madueke is simply cover for Saka ok. But isn't Nwaneri already cover?

I fear that it's Nwaneri saying I want first team football and it's not good enough that your telling me I will be backup to Saka.

He's a fantastic young player so finding another club won't be hard.

I want Eze but Madueke doesn't make sense at all.

He’s always injured isn’t he? Would be fine as a backup striker otherwise.

Not sure it’s come from any good sources though.

I think DCL would be a decent backup for most prem teams. Provided he stays fit and isn’t on silly money. Suppose you could always pay his contract out in its entirety therefore instantly make a huge saving on his wages of course.
I'd rather have DCL on the pitch than Hojlund.

If you expect to see him on the pitch, you'll be sorely disappointed. He'll be keeping Luke Shaw company in the treatment room.

Back on topic - I see Jhon Duran is going on loan to Fenerbahce. My boy used to love watching his goals at Villa. Shame to see such young players chasing the money, but I guess it would be hard to ignore given the life changing earnings on offer, in a relatively short time.
