Been more than playable since 2.0 update.

I bought C2077 during patch 1.63. Was very playable then. 2.0 changed levelling but otherwise just added more features

I played all the way through it just after the update, performance was solid and so was the gameplay

The game was very playable @1440p with a 3060Ti 8Gb I now have a 5060Ti 16Gb and I run @1440p RT overdrive.

Intertwined, whenever you want really. It provides alternate endings if you wish.

I only picked up CP relatively recently with PL bundled, TBH I think PL provides some of the best parts of the whole game.

Considering some of the overpriced slop being put out these days, £32 for CP/PL is a stone cold bargain.

Especially if your the type to fully explore a world, there's so much to see/read/explore in C2077 the cost is pennies per hour of play

And then you can wait 6 months, mod it until the game engine cries and play through again using a totally different character build.

E: I particularly have no issues with GOG as CDProjekt owns it and you can download the actual game files if you want. You don't have to download and use their launcher if you don't want, just install from the files.

You can also get Steam to launch non-steam games you know.

Imo PL is 10 times weaker than the main game- the story is the usual rescue the president affair vs the mind twisting OG, the DLC Dogtown play area with its smashed up ruins that look pretty generic after Night City, the new main characters are boring and generic as well (apart from maybe the net runner chic and the French couple). CP2077 = 10/10 legendary GOAT contender; Phantom Liberty = 7/10 decent.

I almost wish I did not play PL as it diluted my overall impression of this great game.

Just started a new play through, now after driving for 20 seconds two cars of gang bangers show up every time to attack me, what the heck is that about? Also every time I graze another vehicle the cops show up and kill me.
