Who else hates this guy (Gregg Wallace)?

The Silkins report is officially due out on Thursday, but the dad-of-three's legal team have been given an early steer, according to insiders.

Be interesting to see what was what with this report.

He's come out swinging though, and said all the 'serious' allegations were debunked, and all he's guilty of is inapropriate words...

Putting Wallace and the dodgy allegations aside, MasterChef has been a series that, for over 20 years, has likely sparked a huge interest in food across the UK. It’s uncovered a lot of genuine talent, with contestants going on to build successful careers and restaurants.

Unlike The Apprentice, the winner - whether amateur, celebrity, or professional. The winner of the series has in my view, always been chosen based on talent. Roux and Wareing would not have put their rep on the line if it was mere pap. Sure, some idiots always enter the competition for entertainment value, but Wallace and Torode have generally been fair in selecting a deserving winner.

It was the only BBC show I watch. When the controversy erupted, they must have already filmed MasterChef (amateurs), but it hasn’t aired. So, it seems the amateur MasterChef of 2025 won’t be known unless they refilm it?

He says he lost his virginity to an aspiring actress he met at university aged 20 in his autobiography, after having a load of gay fiddles in scout camp as a young boy. At least, that's what online descriptions of his autobiography say.

Someone on that forum probably asked ChatGPT...

Maggie May. I really should be back in school.

The only year I had a big problem with MC was the Asian cook who did curry after curry, even for the final. The only round where it looked like she might get shoved out was when she was made to do a cake, which predictably she messed up. One trick pony came to mind.

No real thoughts on GW other than his over overly grinning face often irked me, seemed OK other than that.

I stopped watching MC ages ago.

Masterchef became monotonous like gbbo (or strictly I'd imagine), was just the short skill tests that were interesting to compare contestants;
bake-off professionals is where it's at, with teams of contestants and their teamwork , still have the oddball comperes though.
