Goodwood Festival of Speed 2022 / 2023 / 2024 / 2025

I've never been to Le Mans.

Ah! Firstly, you need to get there one year, its an amazing race to see, also for the week build up before it in Le Mans town itself and the outlying villages. Secondly in terms of numbers I believe its usually around the 300k mark for amount of people moving around on race day.. perhaps FOS may not be as busy?

Ah that shouldn’t be that bad then if it’s spread over the four days!

What’s the temperature usually like?
I live round the corner, it’s usually pretty rammed but 100% worth going to if you can.

It’s been pretty toasty here the last 2 days but it can be a bit of a lottery. Last year was awful winds so I think they ended up cancelling the Friday.

I'm going for the third year in a row, enjoy it every time I go, there is so much to see!

Last year I got a grandstand ticket which was great so doing the same this year as it's gonna be a hot one!

I'm only going on Thursday but getting there early, will be going with my brother, I do have a mate who's expressed an interest but looks like Thursday is sold out, if anyone knows some who is selling a ticket let me know asap :D

I've got to be up at sparrowfart o'clock to get there in good time. You would have thought the train companies would have cottoned on and provided extra trains

I’m staying over the night before 20mins away. Means I don’t have to leave the house at 4am on Sunday morning :)

Drive down to work this morning was lovely, a lot more traffic but seeing some incredible cars always makes this weekend great when you live relatively local.

Also definitely saw the largest Winnebago I've ever seen in my life arrive this morning. It was genuinely the size of a lorry and was towing a Shelby Mustang!

What day an amazing day yesterday - the weather and cars were awesome !

My favorite car of the day - The Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercar : the noise this makes !

The Red Arrows show was amazing as always, and they returned later in the afternoon for the Prost balcony moment with the French flag smoke colours.

This started the day as a full wet tyre. The Haas F1 team really putting on a display of many donuts :D

I went on Friday, had a great day, although my neck was burnt to a crisp

It was great seeing the different cars going up the hill. One thing it confirmed to me is that we need more natural aspirated V12s! These cars sounds so much better than everything else (bar the racing cars of course)

Comments of 'boring' every time an EV went past was funny :D
