OK so I'm not asking for much :)

Instead of using my current setup which is 2 monitors, PC for Gaming and Mac for the Creative stuff, I would like to get a Monitor that I can use for both.

Would need to be 4K (or above) and be suitable for gaming and must have excellent colour accuracy etc for Photo editing and video work.

Currently I'm using a 38" ultrawide on PC, 27" 5K on Mac so somewhere in the middle of this I guess.

I've seen the Asus ProArt PA32UCDM on OcUK but I don't know much about that or how suitable it would be for my needs.

The 45" LG UltraGear™ OLED Gaming Monitor (45GX950A-B), talked about in the 5k2k thread may be of interest to you if you have hardware to drive it.

It's brand new, so availability is not good right now and don't know if OcUK going to be selling it anytime soon either.

I know I'm going to be gunning for it but will need a full system upgrade first.

Thanks that's one I was going to get when I was considering it just for gaming.

However, as I want it for Photo Editing, Video etc I think the curve will be just too much :(

Indeed, the curve does indeed look fierce. There is a version of this monitor that has an adjustable bend radius that will be coming out later in the year, however that will likely have an even more eye watering price.

The ProArt is indeed for photo editors/video editors, whether it's worth the price difference from a £599.99 4K OLED with same specs but without the same built in software/colour accuracy is up to you.

Also believe it has a few extra ports that would otherwise be missing on similar displays.

The most appealing to me right now is the Dell U4025QW , 5120x2160 120hz IPS with a 2500R gentle curve.

The LG OLED thing is a total nope for work/editing with that crazy 800R curve.

The issue I've found is that UI/Font scaling on MacOS isn't great so you'd want a 4K monitor in a smaller size. 1440p looks horrific on MacOS

Maybe a 27" or 32" 4K OLED monitor?

@Jase the problem you’ll have is that whatever monitor you buy will be inferior in MacOS to the 5k 27” one you already have!

Sorry to dig this thread up again, but wondering if there are any other new options available now as at the time there were a few things due to be released.

Due to an eye issue since August I haven't been able to do any photography/video work but now I can so back to where I was when I asked in July!
