Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

They're collectible because of the cool doors are they?

I'm sure there's absolutely no reason for it to be in that particular collection other than the doors.

I'm looking really hard, I'm sure there's a reason that car is in that collection, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Can anyone else help here pls

Must be the doors ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s a weird car for sure, but you are posting like you are being sarcastic and know something?

Yea says a lot about the state of modern supercars, especially the awful looking SUVs they put. Not a whole lot of interest in them beyond some kids.

One of my neighbours had a mint mk1 Suzuki Swift. That got more looks than Porsches etc. because it has a classic 80s shape and is probably the only one in town. If he was selling it probably would have made an offer.

But also my own attitude has changed to why the **** am I spending so much on cars, when there are cheap ones which are just as entertaining. I can invest the money and buy another house instead.

Maybe it's just me?

No, not just you. I'm completely desensitized to modern supercars now, unless it's something like a Pagani or Koenigsegg, I'm not interested.

Just yesterday on my commute I rode past a Ferrari 456GT. From back in the days when owning a Ferrari meant something. Nowadays anyone with a grand disposable a month can drive around in a Ferrari / Lambo.

I think another large contributing factor is how many cars get pumped out every year. Remember when a new Lambo was an event, it was all over the magazines for months. Nowadays a new Lambo comes out and it's an article on Top Gear for a few days and then they move on to the next thing.

Is that your opinion for all the others in same palate like DBX, Bentayga, Purosangue, etc? :p

DBX at least has some class. Bentayga tells the world that you don't care what anyone thinks of you, you're sitting in quite possibly the comfiest, most luxurious SUV on the market and screw what anyone else thinks. The Purosangue is a proper ground-up built car with a stonking naturally aspirated V12.

The Urus does absolutely nothing that an RS Q8 doesn't do, for a hundred grand extra. It's the literal definition of "I'm a poser pls look at me, my lease is double yours because badge".

Funny thing is, I've see loads of Urus's (Ureses? Uruai?) around, so they don't even seem that exotic.

Here in South Kensington they're like Mondeos, I must see a dozen a week easily. I'll say one thing for sure though, they've certainly taken a ton of sales away from the G Wagen.

Theres at least two Uras in Wargrave. I see them regularly. They do nothing for me but I understand why they exist. Without the Uras, Cayenne, DBX et al volume sellers, we wouldn't have the proper supercars any more.
