It's too hot :(

I'm just picturing overweight chavs with fake tan running, badly done generic samey tattoos, stretch marks, drilling the cheapest cigs, shouting at their kids and their 'baby daddy' with each sentence starting with "Not gonna lie", "I swear down" or "I'm not being funny but"
Nah they is proper sophisticated like wat I am , once I get in there with my vegan sausage chat up line it's game on

Whichever do the jumbo size !
Really heating up here in the works car park but a nice breeze , an hour to go for some uncomfortable beach time , I usually do some tasks at home on a Friday but fitted 3 vertical blinds last night so ......
I'd be talking about one of those small cocktail sausages that had dried up in the heat and was hiding all the time:D

Warm down here but not awful, nice breeze blowing through our house so it feels a little cooler. Nipped to the shop this morning and the difference in what people wear really is funny.

One bloke topless just in shorts, another wearing a proper winter coat.

The school I work in is roasting! Luckily the server room air con is helping in our office :)
Flashbacks to secondary school, climbing up multiple floors of stairs to get to a classroom on a very hot day. Sitting in school uniform, though on the hottest of days, we were allowed to take our ties off and not wear blazers. Not only that, but every classroom seemed to have several large windows soaking up the sun, what looked like single glazing too but I could be wrong, and boiling up the classroom :(

Glad those days are far long gone now for me, but I feel bad for the kids having to endure it these days. Especially when infrastructure hasn't improved much, but our weather persistently hot

I just went home to have a shower and there was a chap that walked past as I was getting into the car with a thick jacket on.

Seems whilst I was away at a work thing yesterdy the Mrs bought a portable aircon unit.

To be fair, its not bad, its a 12000BTU unit, got it setup at the top of the landing venting out the window and it is making a difference. It uses 1.3kw but at the moment the solar is more than covering that so, no, whilst its not running "for free" its not costing us very much at all to run it.

There is some reflective material on the inside of the windows to try and reduce the suns impact.

Far too warm this morning and now we have a hose pipe ban.
Shocking to have a hose pipe ban too, just so much corruption with Yorkshire Water. The highest volume of leaks in their resevoirs compared to the rest of the UK (which isn't great, by any means) and the longest time since any major structural work has taken place or further resevoirs built. The on-going Harton build was meant to be finished this summer and now likely won't be complete this year.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Yorkshire Water, Nicola Shaw, accepted a £371,000 bonus last year.
