34 degrees Celsius and our own bore hole so no hose pipe ban here...

Wheeled the AC out of the cupboard. Let the electric bill madness begin!
We spend far more on heating. Nothing wrong with spending a bit to stay cool!
Far too warm this morning and now we have a hose pipe ban.
Shocking to have a hose pipe ban too,...
You know, that's an interesting way of looking at it.. We wouldn't sit around freezing in the house, so why do we allow this![]()
20C with no wind is definitely not the weater to sweating out a gym sessionyou psychopath!

That sounds horrific.34°C outside and need to get some milk from the shop but will wait until past 8 now so it is not as hot.
Sadly I'm in a south facing apartment with floor to ceiling windows.. It's great in the winter thoughKeeping the direct sun off your south facing windows with shutters and awnings is money well spent as your A/C doesn’t need to run so long if you’re stopping the heat getting into your home in the first place.
Are you allowed to put the UV reflective film on the inside of the windows? We found it dropped the inside temp 3-4°C for about €30 in UV reflective sheeting.Sadly I'm in a south facing apartment with floor to ceiling windows.. It's great in the winter though![]()
I'm probably the only one here still using a duvet at night!(albeit a 2.5tog one).
Damn it!
