Hatton was well on the slide against Pacquiao, finished in that comeback he had in 2012 and the intervening 13 years of booze, pies and other substances really won't have sharpened him up!!

Tbh it just looks like he's robbing some daft sheiks of their money for fighting an exhibition rather than a proper comeback.

I have to say these days boxing is a mess, you hear more in the media about old has beens coming out of retirement for a bit of oil money and numpty YouTubers fighting than you do the actual elites in the sport!
 
good bare knuckle boxing card on soon tonight. dunno how many watch it maybe we should have a seperate thread but its really good and most fights are brutal.

James DeGale has signed up to bare knuckle boxing now it seems. I think he is mad to do it at near 40 years old when he should be fine as far as money goes

dunno if you watched the press last night but they doing a 15 million pound tournement. the big fights are on tomorrow night. they getting the money behind them and it will get very big if they keep it up. lots of boxers and ufc are coming over.

big fights are on tomorrow at 12 midnight.

bare knuckle was simply amazing. literally every fight 1 round destruction. with the money behind it now this could be truly massive. no one dodges each other straight into the fighting no running. what people really wanna see.

I find Dubois really difficult to like.
Woke me, worries that he's been bullied by the father since he was knee high and he is a manufactured boxer with zero charisma and a limited skill set.
Unfiltered me, thinks he's thick as pigpoo and has suspect mental fortitude.

Usyk is an all time great. A master, but I do worry that with each passing fight, camp and year that he over reaches and tarnishes his legacy. He has tough fights, very few early KO's and he trains like an absolute monster. Whilst that can bring longevity it can also wear a fighter down. That said, I still think he schools Dubois after round 4 and stops him later on. I hope he does. Will I be watching - maybe but unlikely by official channels.
 
Dubious Dubois definitely gives me Lenny vibes. Because his sister seems much more 'normal'. Not that it matters in the ring as it turns out he is quite good at punching people in the face
 
I thought the same about Dubois, however he made AJ look a bit silly, you have to give him credit for that.

He did take big hits from AJ as well. As for AJ, assuming Fury isn’t coming back he should hang his gloves.
 
That’s what I mean. He is exceptional at punching people in the face. Just outside the ring I think he’s a bit simple


Wouldn’t dare say it to his face though.
 
dubois gotta go straight at him and try to win in first 6 rounds. uysk just gets better and better as the fight progresses and is a better boxer than dubios.so early rounds he has a punchers chance but i think uysk will come out fast too to try and just slow him down. usyk win if had to put all my money on it. dubios first 6 by knockout if...he can land after than points win or tko usyk again.
