It's too hot :(

We've brought forward our plans to move up north to the coast by 2-3 years after these heatwaves. Only going to get hotter and more populated down here. Even a 5 degree drop makes all the difference.
Its massive, when it was much more pleasant earlier in the week it was about 5C cooler.

The north and west differential is usually in excess of 5C during heatwaves so I think you wont regret the decision.

I don't even like anything above 16C tbf, it starts becoming stuffy/sweaty/humid around 17-18C, but then I can wear shorts in the winter and stand outside with a t shirt on any time of the year in a breeze and feel warm... Manopause I guess
I've gone through that, never have liked the cold or heat( got a job where I was either one or the other) :)

Yeah, I've always preferred to be cold, I wouldn't even say I feel it much, I really like a 'cold breeze' of an evening, to be fair a consistent breeze I guess you'd call it, is more time thing. I cannot stand it when there's no breeze and it's baking hot standing still, utterly pointless.
I've always been like it, no matter my size or weight.
Yeah jobs wise, I remember working in 1 place, it was ridiculous inside, this jobsworth mocked it and said "you wait till summer, up in the mezzanine it'll be in the high 30's!" my reply was, "**** that! I won't be here!" and I wasn't

My body looks like a pregnant stick man, hands and toes get cold quick. Medical problems and injuries also don't help now:(

We ended up all getting camping mats out and sleeping on the floor in the living room, it's colder than upstairs (although still not dropping below 27c).

Starting to feel ill now, sick, dizzy, faint, and generally really weak, I hate the heat and there's been no relief for months now, can't remember the last time I slept properly! Might grab my steam deck and a camping chair and spend the rest of the day in the chilled aisle in Morrisons!

Our Morrisons is having all the fridge and freezers changed and it's now nice and cool but not cold like it used to be.
Reminds me I need to get some more lagers in:)

The train from Bristol to Portsmouth yesterday afternoon was a furnace, just drenched in sweat, no cooling whatsoever.

Good to be on the coast though, windier and slightly cooler, my flat in Bristol shows an overnight low of 28.2c inside.

Its a lot easier to remedy being too cold which helps.
