I have notice some cracking on the underside of my down tube on my 2022 giant defy advanced 1. I’m not really sure how it’s happed but it looks to unsafe to ride.

I have read that repair is possible, but I have no idea how reliable it is, if it’s cost effective, or who’s reputable etc.

Does anyone have knowledge of this and could share their experiences?

David Arthur on YouTube had a Giant TCR repaired by someone in the south west.

So it’s definitely possible. I’d imagine carbon fibre specialists aren’t super rare these days.

technically you can repair it yourself people do it all the time.

if its just debonding or delaminating ort whatever you just wrap it with more layers.
check youtube there will be tons of vids on how its done and what kinda damage is safe to repair.
it looks really simple

if you have a warranty though use it.
