Meant to do this last month, a ton of top dressing down, will overseed tomorrow.

I made another box yesterday, my third completed one. I got a Dovetail jig recently to do dovetail joints, and I've wasted a lot of wood trying to get them right as the instructions were so bad. Finally managed to make this though. The joints don't even need glue, they're so strong. The only glue I used was to secure the bottom piece and the tiles on top (which I bought from Etsy).

It's Meranti hardwood finished with Danish oil. Still not perfect but I'm overall very happy with it, and I learned a lot through my mistakes with this one.

That looks quite neat and tidy:)

Fixed the sub in my car, which hasn't worked since I fitted it in a rush a few months back. After a bit of trouble shooting with the multimeter as I suspected it was the ignition connection, found I had a perfect 11.97 volts on the remote connection, but 0 volts on the main power feed, I discovered I'd just been a massive idiot!

Damn you halfords and your blue cable! Autopilot had obviously engaged  Funnily enough it works perfectly now!

Replaced a sticky door handle with a new one, descaled the coffee machine and got 16 tools out to fix the wobbly arm on my PC chair.

Adjusted 3 wardrobe sliding doors. A bit stressful given the size of the glass sheet inside them. Adjusted is a bit of an understatement, they weren’t even clipped in at the top, 2 weren’t in the runners at the bottom and all 3 ultimately had to be lifted out and put back in. Also tricky given how much the wife has loaded into the wardrobe behind them. At least I know how they work now.

That looks really good. Do you have a link to the jig you purchased?

Took about 10 half-sheets of chipboard flooring and some knackered blankets to the dump. Annoyingly I had stashed the boards against the house and the blankets were boxed, so I don't feel the improvement at all

On the plus side, dump said they'd take brake fluid.

It would be better if you used too many tools or injured youself;)
It's funny you say that, to tighten 2 of the locking screws that stock the brackets that attach to the tv itself, I used about 6 extensions, as the tv was so tight to the wall and you'd need like a 60cm or more screwdriver to get to them :P
