The **Now Eating** Thread

Went into the Kitchen at Bollywood this evening and with instruction made this Chicken Pathia for myself :D

Have also been invited down more often to learn and become a dab hand at a number of Curries

I did do some filming, but the videos are a little choppy as I wanted to enjoy the experience, listen and be present rather than focusing on recording, it was quite nerve racking walking into a kitchen and being quite out of place realistically

I’ll be back down more than once, so now I’ve tested the waters imagine I’ll be able to get some solid footage of Curries being put together.

Bang on mate.. :)

When you opening your own place :D

Yeah, It was a great experience, despite the Curry being relatively simple there really is a skill to it which mainly comes down to practise.

I have some Base Gravy made by us, pots of spices and sauces to re-produce a Pathia at home :D (Given to simplify, as below nothing top secret)

Nothing goes into the Pathia which is top secret or which cannot be had from a Supermarket, THANK GOODNESS.

So once I have it dialed in, Pathia for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

He has invited me down more regularly and is happy to show me the ropes to such an extent where I can knock up a couple of Curries at home to their standard without even having to think about it :D

Just setting up the Kickstarter :D Hope y’all feeling generous

@Gilbert89 - phenomenal work! When are we all coming round for chef’s special pathia?! Really awesome that yo my got to experience it for yourself!!

Working on it :p You may have to bring your own chairs

The art to this Curry is the cooking method, as the Spices, Sauces and cooking steps are simple, most of it comes down to having the eye for consistency’s changes and timing, adding water and cooking out spices.

Awesome! Very lucky and a fantastic experience :D

Absolutely - Once I am able to replicate to their standard, I’ll look at privately putting a little guide together for anyone wanting to try it for themselves at home :)

I know it's been something you have wanted to do for a very long time. So I am pleased you had the opportunity to experience the kitchen and that you enjoyed the curry. Now we're all waiting for part 2 of your cooker cause

That is so good, genuinely thrilled for you and definitely a touch jealous.

Mark me down for a recipe guide when you start dishing them out.

Proof positive that healthy can still be delicious.

Have you shrunk to a matchstick man yet?
It was very tasty and that wasn't a of it there was four of us and a table full, two of whom I only met at lunch so wasnt comfortable snapping everyone that was placed on the table :D

Still going, thanks, a fraction over 2.5 stone lost as of last week

Weigh in day tomorrow and hoping to hit the three stone mark for my hollibobs in August :D
