It's too hot :(

First night all week I havn't had to have the fan blowing all night. Whoopee. Looks like temps are on the up again though and its humid.
We had a 5 minute downpour this morning around 7:30 and couple of spots a few minutes ago. Enough that I don't have to water the garden today but that's about it so far.
You got rain? Wow.
Southern water hosepipe ban from Monday...
Damn (edit: isle of wight and hampshire only. Phew)

Yep, rained for the briefest of periods. We still need a LOT more!

Portsmouth water residents are safe at the moment. The same happened last time too. Southern water introduced a ban but Portsmouth never did.

Strange day, the temperature might have hit closer to 30C than the 26C predicted, but it was very gradual and didn't feel that bad until around 1800 when odd showers just dodged us.

Maybe it was the breezy 14C we had at sunrise that kept the lounge feeling fresh after two fresher days?

But still a warm 22C outside at gone 2030 and lounge is a stuffy 26C.

Horrible feeling the next two days and three nights aren't going to be pleasant.

Same here and the humidity is racking up to uncomfortable levels, 20c @ 10.30pm officially counts as a tropical night I've heard... just watched a GN video though from Guangjang in China and its 40c there so could be worse lol

Tony, someone made a meme about you the other day mate ;)

Right okay, I need some help looking for something better than a fan but without going full air con.

My neighbour mentioned about some ice box thing out of B and M a couple weeks ago, not seen one since he mentioned it though.

Anyone got any hacks, I got a powerful fan, but need something just a little bit more without splashing out on an air con unit.

Thin t-shirt or baselayer, soak it in cold tap water before putting it on, sit on front of operating fan.

I can smell the humidity outside from the rain, I think thats because there is no wind, but still it beats what we had at start of week for sure.

Humidity killed me yesterday working outside in it.
Hopefully not as bad today.

Apparently some bad thunderstorms are going to hit some places over the next couple of days with the chance of a month's rain in a day. Not good when the ground is so dry and solid.

Oh I love thunderstorms even though it disrupts my tv signal thing which is really frustrating and annoying.
