@jpaul

They have a very thin frame and honestly i dont notice it. They are these https://www.visionexpress.com/glasses/emporio-armani-ea-1052-3094/8053672576795

I was only messing with you, man. It made me laugh that you'd even made that statement. I think they suit you

To be honest i get on fine with them, forever cleaning finger prints off them though! I didn't realise how short sighted i was, i knew i had issues at distance but its such a difference with them. it does take me a while to adjust when i take them off though
Grab a big box of the Zeiss lens wipes from Amazon. I tried about 200 different types after getting mine (ahh new glasses owners and the obsession with keeping them spotless!), didn’t find any that worked as well.

We like the Zeiss wipes for cleaning the mirrors and lens in our laser. They seem to stand alone as best choice in the community.

Ah, I didn't spot this question but did guess at your age. Weird forum habit when it's been around 20+ years :D

I reckon you look about 40 - FWIW I'm 37.

I bought a box of this years ago and still going through them. I put a few in basically every bag that I have. Camera bag, camera cases, suitcases, tech pouches.

don't need any fancy wipes, except on holiday/away
just every couple of days, with washing up, dab of fairy-liquid on wet finger clean front/back, run under hot water,
blot with a piece of kitchen towel/tissue on both sides. (mine are hard antiscratch coated)

Sony a6700 + 18-135mm lens bundle
Sony E 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 G OSS | APS-C, Zoom, Super Telephoto Lens (APS-c so equiv of full frame 105- 525mm should be good for wildlife)
64gb memory card incase its a fake and camera doesn't see it as full v90... seems more sensible to get a 128 or 256gb card from a camera shop where they are almost 100% genuine.
MEIKE MK-S-AF3A AF Auto Focus Macro Extension Tube Adapter Ring (10mm+16mm) for Sony Mirrorless E-Mount FE-Mount

Wish I could afford a macro lens in the 90-100mm+ territory that has auto focus for videos.

maybe in 1-2 months,

got some clear filters for the ends of the lens to keep them clean, and a dummy battery but too lazy to take pics and no one want to see them anyway.

Just need to find a good tripod that can fit in a backpack and won't break in 1-3 swings at any thieves.

Wish I could afford one of the 2k lens no doubt people on these forum own, but meh, im sure the 70-350 will seem mangificent to me, coming from a crappy android camera that's like 5 years old.

I really wanted a panasonic GH7, but the lens just seems like sonys the only choice unless youre crazy rich.

New car has arrived much earlier than expected (wasn't due til end of September), so I've bought a new dash cam (Red tiger F77 + hardwire kit) & PTZ security cam (Reolink RLC-823S3) to keep it safe.

Got the weekend to rearrange our existing CCTV, to add another two cameras covering my next door neighbour's property. She's an RN Officer and off to sea shortly, so she asked me to install some cameras for her. Our sons have been best friends since nursery and she watches our place when we're away, so I suggested extending our existing system (and giving her full access), which benefits us both.

It's nice to have nice neighbours.

cool , so they have a very thin bead around bottom of lense then, like a hybrid between rimmed / rimless - online purchase ?
google doesn't seem to say if the fitting is more expensive
(am looking for a replacement for rimless/lindberg I currently have and want an uninterrupted field of view)
The type of frame you're after is referred to as "Supra":

"This term, used in the optical industry, refers to a semi-rimless frame where the lens is held in place by a nylon cord or wire that is threaded through the lens and frame."

They're a pain in the bum to cut lenses for (you have to cut a groove for the nylon thread to secure the bottom half of the lens) and are prone to chipping when dropped, but they're a nice compromise between fully rimless (expensive & fragile) and full frame goggles.
