It's too hot :(

Just Stopped raining. Had a Yellow Thunderstorm warning. Didn't see anything but Moderate rain from 0700 till now. 19C outside 26C inside and not in the slightest bit of cool air. So Shorts are going on.
Dogs were not amused about taken out at midday.
On the Plus side its kept the feral little Kids inside most of the day. 6 weeks listening to them and then its off to Rhodes for 21 nights.
On the plus side got the outstanding Mandatory Training Courses done for work (NHS). Now got another 6 days off till I'm back at work. So hoping the weather improves so I can get some walks and bike rides in before Feral little sh!ts wake up.

I was sat in beer garden on my own this afternoon having a pint in the rain, it was so warm I didn't get wet. But it was raining, I'm still trying to understand what happened.

My tip for the hot evenings.

Take a towel, not a huge one just big enough to go from your neck down to your gentleman vegetables/lady garden. Soak it through with cold water and wring it out just so nothing is dripping then place it on your torso in bed for a minute or so then remove. Repeat as needed.

Just had a thunderstorm here and even though it came down very heavily we managed to miss the garden getting flooded. I've reported the drain around the corner, that fills up very quickly and pushes water onto the side my house sits which leads to the gardens getting flooded. I've reported this problem before but nothing ever gets done as the response is either the problem has been fixed or there isn't a problem as it allows the recommended amount of water when they check it:(

Apparently it's approx 14C outside now and there's a bit of a northeasterly breeze...

Windows in lounge have been open all summer.

I've just had to put a tracksuit top on over my t-shirt!

We have had the most rain I have ever seen in all my 58 years this dinnertime. At 12.25 my weatherstation recorded a peak of 59.4mm per hour. I had a river flowing down the top half of my back garden with the bottom half and the whole front garden doing a fine impression of a swimming pool. It was coming off the roof as if the gutters weren't even there!! On top of thhat the kitchen sink started gurgling and before long it was starting to fill with the water coming up through the pipes and we live on top of a very big hill!! I bet the River Spey was in flood for a change. Now it's gone extremely humid with the outside sensors reading 95% humidity, it's like being in a tropical jungle!!
