This Instant And Moment - 2025!

Rang the HMRC yesterday regarding a business PAYE refund we claimed for on the 7th May which is supposed to be received within 40 working days.

I was informed that due to the backlog the estimated time we would receive the refund is....*checks notes*....the 24th Nov...

Yet, when you owe them the due date is 6 weeks before they tell you.

I didn't know either until the pest control told me that if I caught one it was illegal to let a grey squirrel live as it's an invasive species.
Vicious little ***** they are too. A lad at work caught one that had somehow managed to get itself into the hospital. Only thing is he caught it in a mesh net and the bloody thing tore and bit his hands to shreds. He spent a good few hours in the ED getting stitched, bandaged and having his tetanus shot.

Grey squirrels, those cute little things that chase each other around the park and eat nuts in the tees?

Didn’t realise they were classed as vermin, totally news to me.
Grey squirrels, those things that turned up and knocked the population of red squirrels right down by competing for resources and spreading squirrel pox.

Reasonably cute but they are invasive.

Just had new bed and desk arrive for the guest room. I'm still shopping for a new chest of drawers, curtains, quilt cover and a rug to finish it off.

Shock as frightened animal attacks it's captor.

Yes they are vermin,

I used to do abit of shooting back in the day and they used to be on the list

Since coming back from the USA I've caught 7 squirrels, on top of a couple

Were the couple not annoyed that you were catching squirrels on them?

I'm glad I still see red squirrels up here.

The book should be lobbed at the folks that broke into the RAF base 100%, some serious time should be done for that but branding all these protestors as terrorists is just too broad, I don’t see it standing up. A dangerous road to travel for the government.

I do feel like your rage might have been misdirected concerningly easily by the media...
Our government are complicit in a genocide, and these people successfully delayed RAF flights to the Gaza strip.
It sends a message, and so does the media proudly showcasing all of the arrests instead of tackling the underlying issues.

When i was a student I did some work experience at a hospital in London and sitting outside eating my lunch the little beggers would run up my leg, along my arm and try to pinch bits of my sandwich.

Hey sports team,

Just arrived back tonight from a 4 weeker in Greece, Estonia, Paris, Scotland and England. This is outside St Leonards, St Andrews, which is where I (L) married my wife (3L) in 2006 and then these two upstarts came into frame and spent all our money
