One thing I am not quite getting is the prime focus of the stories are on the man. The woman involved seems to be taking far less flack from the media. An example here from BBC - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx20z3ykd9ro

It mentions his name, the fact he is married and then how he was suspended and has now resigned. The woman involved only has her name there. No mention that she is also married or any mention of suspension or anything else.

Now, I get he is the CEO, but she isn't some entry level position - she is head of HR. A person who should be FULLY aware of what can happen with this kind of workplace affair, given her job role.

I'm probably reading too much into it?

She is 100% a goner and being in HR will be completely unemployable for the rest of her life.

Going by staff commentary online, he wasn't a good CEO to begin with, often putting himself above others.

Can someone please explain to a numpty what the company actually does? It all seems like a massive grift with typical linkedin buzz words. Are all these "tech" companies a bit like the .com bubble of the turn of the millennium?

We are the company behind Astro, the industry-leading data orchestration and observability platform powered by Apache Airflow®. Astro accelerates building reliable data products that unlock insights, unleash AI value, and power data-driven applications.

What does that even mean?
They build the software which runs the Rockwell Retro Encabulator.

Ironically, in this particular instance, side fumbling was not effectively prevented.
