I’m really tempted to push the button on one of these:

Are there any short comings or pitfalls given it’s prebuilt and off the shelf?

Would a fully configured system offer better performance for the same price?

It’s a big outlay so want to get it right.

Any advice gratefully received.

Current system in my sig, mainly use it for high end games, presume I’d see quite an increase in performance?

Personally, if I was going to buy a high-end PC, I'd want 64GB of memory and a PCI-E 5.0 capable motherboard (assuming OCUK don't upgrade that anyway), but it would perform great in the vast majority of games and you can always change the memory later.

5090 is best part of 2K (or more, depending on the model) so that's where most of the expense comes from. Hence, an alternative system is going to be £2K as a starting point in just the same way.

I wouldn't spend that amount of money on a powrer hungry PC that will only have a kolink PSU
find someone local to you who will build a PC for cash, and get a parts thread opened, to better suit your budget my PC was built for £50, a damn sight cheaper than ocuk builds them for, though I got lucky, my PC guy is a Pro
