Not sure what that was about. Tried the drive in two different bays nothing (but I didn't check diskmanager). Plugged into my main rig - shows and runs fine, back into the N5 Pro and it works again. I think it knows I was about to replace it.

Did you get this N5 device or the ugreen? or both lol im confused!

. The DX4800+ is my on site backup/cloud and whatever goodies I start to learn from docker. The N5 Pro is my HTPC/general purpose PC and living room gaming machine.

Hhmm my disappearing HDD seems to have spread to the other 3 after a restart.

Not at all. I thought it was just my Exos HDD and it seems to display this behaviour every time I turn off/restart the machine. When it's just the Exos HDD, Disk Manager will see it but not let do anything like change the drive letter. When it's all HDDs, Disk Manager won't open properly.

Some troubleshooting ahead.

You are painting outside the lines a little which is not allowed under windows. Microsoft are now attempting to redefine their relationship with you.

Hilarious. Minisforum shipped me a 128GB NVMe as a trusted customer. Me thinks this is to do with their shady pricing tactics for the launch.

The 30% discount code they touted, but it was 30% off some inflated made up price on their part. And they said you could stack the code with another but wasn't working for many in the first few hours.
