I'm struggling to see what we do with Isak AND Ekitike, playing both doesn't seem that prcatical
It could actually work well, Ekitike has a tendency to drift to the left when he plays and has actually played on the left wing before, we could sell Diaz and Ekitike could play on the left, Isak in the middle, Salah on the right and Gakpo (who already has proven that he doesnt mind being rotated) could fulfill the Jota rotational role

I thought a team couldn’t have space for both isak and ekitike?
I also said I didn’t think we wanted Ekitike and wouldn’t pay big for Isak so what do I know :p

But in all seriousness, it does create a lot of questions and makes me wonder whether Wirtz could be the Diaz replacement and we might play a bit more 4-4-2ish, if we can land Isak of course.

Spoiler: the blacked out motor the other day that sky claimed was Ekitike (who was in London) was actually Isak rocking up for his medical & agreeing personal terms :p:cool:

It almost seems too easy we may get Isak something is off haha :D

We’re stacked attacking wise even if Isak doesn’t happen, need a centre back in next for me

I'd go with a 4-2-3-1 , like this

Frimpong - Guehi - VVD - Kerkez

Mac Allister - Gravenberch

Salah - Wirtz - Ekitike

Isak

Ornstein reporting we are in for Wissa and have contacted Leipzig over Sesko. We have signed Elanga but before all this Isak news, I feel the club have been very slow in their approach considering we have just qualified for the champions league. Disappointed.
