custom length cables for phillips fidelio ?

So I have the Phillips Fidelio X3, Brilliant headphones but the cable is 10 feet long which is around 8 feet more than I need as I'm at the desk right next to the AMP/DAC they plug into.

Anyone by chance know of anyone that can make custom length cables at decent prices ? Doesn't need to be balanced or made out of unicorn hair :D
 
Have a look on aliexpress, they have a 1.4m cable for your headphones by OpenHeart for 26 pounds. I've bought a couple of their cables recently, and been impressed.

I have one of these and also a pair from Tripowin (was on sale on Amazon) for £32 or so. I'd say the cable itself Tripowin is nicer but I find the jacks on the Openheart to be better. I like both.

When not on sale then I'd take the Openheart everytime because Tripowin is like £45.
 
Yeah, I think that's the maker of mrks purple cable you see in his photos, I went looking for one, but never found what i was looking for.

It's the Tripowin one, it's this version.

For some reason aliexpress will not let me shop with them, No matter what I pick it always comes back with "this item is not available in your region"

Annoyingfly they don't seem to do anything for Dan Clark. that explains why I didn't find anything on Amazon earlier.
 
They're not proprietary, as such, as they can be bought on aliexpress. They're something called Hirose connector HR10A-7P-4P(73). I actually realy like them, they have a nice action, and click in lovely.
 
Well I have had to start a return for the one from the rainforest, The Linsoul one, Left earcup works fine but the right one only works if I hover the connector about 50% into the socket, If I fully click it in then zero sound. Disappointing considering the cable is the perfect length.

I have one, and it's pretty good. I wish it was braided fabric outer sleeve though, as it turns out I prefer that. I have an expensive one for my Amiron, and I love how it feels. It flows over surfaces in a way I like, doesn't catch. All OpenHeart seem to do for DCA is the braided PVC outer. It looks great, feels great, it's a quality item. I... just would like a fabric cable is all. I liked the look of that Tripowin one in purple!

I just received today an extension cable from Openheart that is braided and fabric 8 core silver cable which I think would be the perfect one of all 3 of these.

So they are

Left - Openheart 4.4mm to XLR adaptor, 16 Core OFC Silver Plated.
Top - Openheart 16 Core 3.5mm to 4.4mm 16 Core OFC Silver Plated
Bottom - Openheart 8 Core High Purity Silver 4.4mm extension cable
Right - Tripowin Granvia 8 core, OFC cable

The perfect feel is the Tripowin but the size is probably the extension cable.
