Hi Folks

I am thinking of buying a used model - my budget doesn't stretch far enough to buy a nearly new or a brand new one !

However, I keep on hearing that a lot of owners of this model experience a lot of issues.

What are your thoughts?

Is it worth buying?

What's the reason to go for the hybrid rather than non-hybrid, if you are set on an A3? I get reasonable MPG out of a 1.5 TFSI (averaging 45 over the life of the car, and 50-60 on motorway trips), if that's the reason.

Then go on auto trader, select A3, tell it your budget and buy the one you like. You've given absolutely zero information so you're not gonna get much advice unfortunately.

I want to go for a hybrid rather than petrol because they're usually cheaper to run, and may eventually buy a EV.

Toyota Corolla GR-Sport 2.0 if you want a hybrid hatch.

Dirt cheap to run, won't break, but still has some performance and AWD. 10 year warranty as long as you take it to them for a service.

Didn't think the UK market got the AWD version of the Corolla hybrid
