CEO of tech company gets caught cheating at Coldplay gig.

Absolute shame on all the massive companies who are jumping on the bandwagon with their memes imo. it should not be allowed.
agree with this. What if it was too much to take for either of them and someone ended up topping themselves? With the loss of a marriage, career and the entire world judging you.. I could see it happening

Air your dirty laundry in public and the consequences are on you.

Don’t want to get caught cheating? Don’t cheat, and definitely don’t do it in public.

you dont happen to be a photographer for the Sun do you? I imagine this attitude is how they sleep at night. Just because you dare to venture outside does not mean you consent to having your mug plastered all over the world..... Do you think people who go on holiday to a naturist beach for instance (not my scene but it takes all sorts) are fair game for grotty adult sites to share then?

You'd think that, by their age, they would have learned that actions can have consequences. A few seconds of critical thinking would have made it clear that it was a bad idea to do that on the balcony at a Coldplay gig, given how lovey-dovey Chris Martin is.

Every day, men kill themselves after finding out that their partner has cheated on them, following a divorce or when they lose their job, but nobody really cares. The fact that these people are wealthy and their story made the news doesn't mean they should be given a free pass.

I don't see how it could have been contained at all. It's not as if the concert cameraman knew, and once something is on social media, it's impossible to stop it spreading. Yes, it's disheartening to see big corporations getting involved, but then again, we already know that these companies only care about their profits.

I agree it was a stupid thing to do but dont agree that i feel any different because they are wealthy. i would feel the same way about anyone who had unfortunate photos being paraded all over the world be it upskirt photos in a changing room, topless photos on a beach, an ex partners photos off their phone or a kids photo at the swimming baths OR 2 people hugging at a concert.

just because it was something seen in public does not mean the world have a right to spread it everywhere with the sole intention to ridicule / shame.

The thing is, they do kind of have the right, as they were foolish enough to do it at a big public event. How would you suggest this could have been prevented?

I mean, I don’t think you can compare this to revenge porn.

i think the important point is no one knows.... and neither should we.....Until you walk a mile in someone elses shoes you have no clue. social media is the bain of the planet imo. its disgraceful what has happened from all this. could you imagine you having your face plastered all over the world.. and even IF you had done something you shouldnt have, do you think their partners or kids will not be effected by this. Absolute shame on all the massive companies who are jumping on the bandwagon with their memes imo. it should not be allowed.

I am no royalist but am old enough to remember the absolute hounding that Princess Di got off the press back in the day with long zoom lenses taking photos of her with Fayed etc............. then all of a sudden she dies and those same rags suddenly made her out to be an angel despite them being partly responsible for her death........... Could you imagine if one of those 2 topped themselves.. all for being caught on camera having a cuddle at a concert.... mind you i am sure some would feel that would be a just punishment!.

Fully agree. Cheating is completely wrong but there are always two sides to every story. And if it does turn out that the other partners both have hearts of gold, then I hope they find peace and lots of money out of the divorce. But life is rarely so simple.

I can't imagine what they're going through. Fortunately, whilst the internet never forgets, it does tend to bore easy - it'll be something else soon.

Their reactions are what made this news. If they had simply smiled and swayed, the camera would have moved on and there's a chance that no family members or employers would have found out.

They didn't smile and sway.

She turned away, covering her face, and he skulked off.

Talk about guilty consciences :)

They decided to have an affair or whatever it is.

They decided to go to a huge concert with cameras everywhere.

They are the ones that acted like rabbits in headlights when the spotlight was turned on them.

What on earth were they thinking by deciding to go there together and stand on a prominent balcony in full view?

They both have/had high positions in their employment and would be fully aware of the tech age we live in and the power of the media. Undoubtedly they would have utilised the latest technology and the Internet as part of their jobs.

I just don't understand why there should be any sympathy for them.

Yep, look at all the fuss about a random ho spitting on guy's members, don't hear anything about her anymore.

Everyone likes this kind of thing as it gives them a bit of excitement in their everyday lives and also that little bit of "I am better than them" endorphin rush

Of course, it's always funny until you end up on the receiving end of something and the public attention is on you, then it's went too far... amirite?

well since I wouldn't cheat, that won't happen.

Patrick Moore will be rolling in his grave at the disrespect this incident has put on the Astronomy community

Agree completely. A lot of it also driven by envy. I’m not suggesting people are envious of their affair, but they were both in a positions of privilege and it was the plebs day to stick the knife in.
