Happy Gilmore 2 | Netflix

Absolutely loved it. A bit weak in the middle but a great cast and I am a sucker for nostalgia. A honest sequel with a nod to the original.

Not as good as the first but that was a masterpiece.

It was good in a brain in neutral, watch once type of way. A few laughs, but the last hole on the "alt" golf course couldn't but make me think of the old It's A Knockout/Jeux Sans Frontieres elements!

The irony being that in the first movie, "Happy" was the unconventional figure cutting across the conservative stuffiness of professional golf, in the sequel he is defending the establishment.

There's nothing more I hate in this world that someone saying you have to be functionally retarded to find something entertaining. If a film is so bad it will only appeal to those without higher brain function, you know it's crap.

Just watched it with the kids.

Total ****. Just terrible.

First half was just about ok, though it was far, far too heavy on the cameos. In fact, some of the pro golfers were legit [though jarringly badly acted] characters, and it was all the worse for it (John Daly gets a notable pass here - he was good)

Second half, with the stupid hi tech golf gimmick, was basically unwatchable.

It's so weird. It's such a marmite film. I hated it, but some friends loved it. You read rotten tomatoes and it's either a 1 or 5. I wonder what makes it enjoyable to others that I cannot appreciate.

I thought it was a load of rubbish. The cast made me want to keep watching it, how he managed to get everyone of them involved is a bit insane to be honest.

The golfers alone, mental. Daly was the best part of it.

Wasn't as bad as it could've been, certainly not in Coming 2 America levels of crap but it was never going to be anywhere near as good as the original.
