Bathroom door slowly opens wide - what do I need to stop it?

Hey,

I have something in my mind but can't think of what it is called.

Basically, our floor isn't entirely level so the bathroom door when pushed to (not closed, just to let a bit of air in/out) slowly opens wide blocking the hallway.

What is a cheap device that can prevent this without having to close the door but I dunno adding tension so it doesn't open?

Cheers.

A vertical coil spring, one end screwed to the door, one end screwed to the frame.
Uses torsion to pull the door to without necessarily closing it.

Check the how the door is sitting in the frame, if out of alignment it may just need a little packer behing the hinges or just simple tightening the screws

We just put the next new loo roll against the door before you sit down. Been doing it for years without failure..
Before that it was two hooks and laky band.
:)

Take door off it’s hinges and poo proudly in full view of the family like a true Alpha.

Or, as mentioned above, check the hinges/hang of the door - might just need tightening at top or bottom.

I tried the taking the door off once and for the first 6 minutes it was fine, but then the police turned up and after the court case I was banned from every Waitrose in the UK.
