This Instant And Moment - 2025!

My Ant setup is much larger. Basically the entire garden :D

They love my greenhouse, they keep trying to pull it down into their nest.

Unfortunately I have to resist there. Everywhere else outside they can occupy.

Additionally I am having to adopt Kier Starmers one in one out philosophy for the greenhouse. One chilli plant has to come out before sensibly I can get in.

Just finished a 4 day packraft trip in Montenegro

Disappointing lack of tights here, but i do like the look of that top

Bought some flexible storage as until the garage conversion is finished, my tools are just lying around. This will at least make stuff easy to grab and cart from room to room, one box for power tools, one for woodwork, one decorating etc.

Actually these get jet washed by the seller then wrapped in cling film immediately, meaning I opened a capsule of stagnant fart water :o So they're stacked and drying out.

can get those for free at tesco near me, the got no space to put cages etc in the store so they put them outside the store around the corner during opening hours.

It was 37C
Far too hot for tights!

I left today and it was going to be 41c!

The top is my upf50 rash vest.
Saves so much sunscreen!

It’s very nice. I however do not have the upper body (or any part of my body) to pull off a rash vest.

A what now?
regional dialect...

The phrase "chester drawers" is a common mispronunciation or misspelling of "chest of drawers". It's a case of "mondegreen," where a phrase is misheard and subsequently misremembered. Many people, particularly in certain regions or dialects, have used "chester drawers" throughout their lives, often unaware that it's not the correct term

yes unaware same as those people who say baff and nottinum are clearly mishearing words

"Woss tha' in't corner o'er theer?"
"That's chesta drawers, lad."

Am cooking chicken pieces in the oven. Planning to serve with curry sauce as a side. Not sure this will go with microwaved potatoes but will give it a try.

Two out of three level crossings entering town are closed for track laying and reballasting. Cue motoring mayhem, angry shoppers and the occasional quiet road
Luckily on my velocipede I can whiz along the river bank with the arrogance of Mr toad. Toot toot.

I need to cull the local seagulls nearby my house, and the magpies in my street

they are so annoying

I feel the same way about the pair of plovers that are nesting in my backyard. Try and hang out the washing and they attack.

Give it another week (the 6th) and I will call the plover removalist. But that's going to cost me another $250aud for the second time in less 8 months.

They are sitting on 4 eggs that are past their hatching date already.
