In 2004 bought a used 1999 Audi A3 and the used dealership I bought it from handed it over with the fuel light on. The dealership “kindly” (by kindly I mean begrudgingly) agreed to put £5 worth of fuel in to it. It was not an enjoyable purchase experience.
When I got it home and was checking out the boot, I found a fleece with the dealers logo on it and inside the fleece was two £10 notes and some change. Needless to say I kept it for “compensation due to emotional distress”. The money, not the fleece
It also had a roll on deodorant in the glove box. Had it been an aerosol I would have kept it.
That reminds me of the Swedish Chemist shop joke. I’d like a deodorant please… “ball or aerosol”… “neither, it’s for my armpit”.
