Saw Reuters mentioning an 8.7 earthquake off Russia's east coast. Sounds like a powerful earthquake by comparison

8.8  that's huge! Looks like some places in Russia have already been hit by the tsunami, hopefully people have had enough time to get out where there have been warnings.

Even mother nature not happy with Russia

Sign of the time I guess but I was watching BBC news this morning about the earthquake, it was going on for about an hour talking about the tsunami threat to Hawaii and Japan and there was absolutely no mention of the effect it had on Russia despite it taking place off the coast of Russia

Probably because that area of Russia is sparsely populated.

Because really Putin won't give, a damn. Interested in paying for the war in the west and his dreams of a new soviet union.

6th biggest earthquake ever recorded. Looks like it's started to hit Hawaii.

Wild. Crazy how quickly the tsunami reached Huwaii.

Can't tell if serious or if media just over-egging it for clicks.
Will pay attention when there's actual evidence of happenings.

I don’t think you can over egg a tsunami from one of the largest earthquakes recorded. Some of the initial videos are terrifying.
