Not just you I don’t have the option to go higher either only lower.just as an update - I did a full Safe Mode DDU - reinstalled latest beta drivers
and still no option to select a resolution above Native - don't understand it
VSR selected on and off
GPU scaling tried on and off as well whilst VSR selected
on my Nvidia card I could just enable then select a resolution higher than native ie for the desktop or for games - often I chose 1440p which went then downscaled to 1080p looked great
I’ll do some research tonight reinstalling monitor drivers I have seen can solve the problem.
Strange. All you should have to do is turn on Virtual Super Resolution (VSR) and I think GPU Scaling and away you go. I have Adaptive Sync, VSR and GPU scaling all enabled. Here is mine in Windows on 25.6.3 (different card I know):
Have you thought about a fresh windows install as there may be corruption in system level files or registry locations?
Are you using multiple monitors? Have you tried with just one primary?
Sorry if you've mentioned all this before.
Have you tried directly into the monitor bypassing the Denon AVR?I have tried this to no avail
I dont' really get how the end monitor could make much of a difference.
Mine comes up as a generic monitor, but identifies it correctly as my Denon AVR - it lists all of the modes correct for my TV so is reading the EDID
really the virtual resolutions should have no bearing on the output - should get scaled to the native resolution
I haven't tried a re-install of Windows 11 as that would be a complete pain but I did run DDU in Safe Mode

I would say it would be worth trying, Just to rule out any funky behaviour with the pass through.have to admit I have not - its a bit of a pain to access the back of the AVR
even if it was to work - it wouldn't be a viable workaround
I do have a spare monitor though I could try and plugin directly instead - I'll try that when I get a chance

Not really seeing any benefits of 9070XT watercooling yet apart from temperatures and in some situations noise?timespy run @ 26 263

I'd have expected higher than 30k with water cooling. I got 34k on air and my GPU wasn't as cool![]()

My default browser is firefox and save all tabs, chrome I use the same tabs on startup and I have it run in the background; its usually always in the background.I use Edge, so can't help unfortunately.
There was an issue with an older driver (I had this problem) but this was fixed in a later driver. How you fixed it was one of the ways to temporarily get by. Have a search in the AMD driver thread, but if it's happening now maybe it's something else?My default browser is firefox and save all tabs, chrome I use the same tabs on startup and I have it run in the background; its usually always in the background.Think this fixed it. I turned off graphical acceleration.
Chrome is the issue it doesnt play well with AMD GPU. I get websites where it corrupts the screen when scrolling its a flaming nuisance. Happened ever since I got my 9070 several months go so its been on numerous different drivers. Turning hardware acceleration off fixes it but then some websites are fugly and videos dont play properly sometimes.Mine is stock. Its the only browser that does it so its Chrome not AMD. I`m thinking of changing browsers and I've used Chrome for years. Very annoying.
